Well, just tonight I was downstairs doing laundry when I happened to spot this little critter climbing on the basement wall. It was all wet, like it had fallen in the sump pit, and was almost certainly cold (The basement rarely gets above 50F). So, I gently corralled it into an old peanut butter jar.
Now, I'm kinda at a loss as to what to do with it. It's too cold to let it go outside, and...I must confess, even though I definitely DO NOT want to kill it, I still would rather it not be in the house.
So...what should I do?
Blurry picture is blurry. Didn't want to use the camera flash to avoid distressing it. It was probably already under enough stress from its involuntary swimming lesson.

AWWWWW OMG that is soo soo so so so so so so so so so so so sosososososo CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd say keep it overnight and call animal control in the morning, they'll relocate it to somewhere safe.
Contrary to common belief, rabies isn't as big in bats as people make it out to be.
Too many people are afraid of the little cuties.
