Nexomon and Nexomon: Extinction are obscure games among most people. It is similar to Pokemon, but it's a series all on its own and it has an amazing storyline. It has many differences from Pokemon such as the more simplified types and the fact that many higher ranked Nexomon (like the Tyrants and the King/Queen of the Nexomon) are capable of speech and, similar to Legendary Pokemon, are exceptionally powerful. The Primordial Tyrants (the Nexomon shown in my drawing) are even more powerful than ordinary Tyrants.
There's no dragon, bug, or fairy type as those are a species in the Nexomon universe, not a type. The mineral type is a combination of Pokemon's rock, ground, and steel types. There are no poison type Nexomon since different attack types, like plant or water, can be toxic and poison targets. Ice type is left out and is instead counted as water type since ice is frozen water. Dark type is left out and is instead merged with psychic and ghost types, as those 2 types can use dark magic. Fighting type is also left out and is merged with the normal type, since both are physically element-less attack types anyway. With these differences, Nexomon has fewer types than Pokemon and there are no dual type Nexomon, making type matchups simpler and less complicated.
I won't give spoilers (check out the game if you are interested in finding out more about it) but as for the Nexomon depicted, these are referred to as the Primordial Tyrants. These are not the exact designs, but simply my take on them. Their designs were different between Nexomon and the sequel, Nexomon: Extinction. It's unknown why the designs were changed, but my designs here are combinations between their designs from both games, since there were aspects of both designs that I liked. There are 7 Primordial Tyrants, but I omitted the 7th (Metta) because I had no idea what to do for a redesign because of how simple his design was and because he only appeared in Nexomon wheras the other 6 appear in both games.
From oldest to youngest:
Grunda, Tyrant of Earth
Type: Mineral
My design for Grunda is mostly like his Nexomon: Extinction design with some aspects of his design from the first game included.
Ventra, Tyrant of the Tempest
Type: Wind
My design for Ventra is mostly like her Nexomon: Extinction design with some aspects of her design from the first game included.
Fona, Tyrant of the Undying Flames
Type: Fire
My design for Fona is mostly like his design from the first game with some aspects of his design from Nexomon: Extinction included.
Nara, Tyrant of Life
Type: Plant
My design for Nara is mostly like her Nexomon: Extinction design with some aspects of her design from the first game included.
Arqua, Tyrant of the Oceans
Type: Water
My design for Arqua is mostly like her design from the first game with some aspects of her design from Nexomon: Extinction included.
Luxa, Tyrant of the Blasting Lightning
Type: Electric
My design for Luxa is mostly like his design from the first game with some aspects of his design from Nexomon: Extinction included.
Metta, the youngest Tyrant (not given a title)
Type: Normal
Not pictured. I couldn't think of a good redesign for him due to how simple and boring his design is and because he doesn't appear in the second game with his elder siblings.
