Never saw many crows while growing up, but now seeing them a lot. Quite fun to watch. So I don't mind them coming to visit.

they don't harass them at all, they are pushing them away from the crow's nests!
Hawks and Eagles are eating eggs of smaller birbs and even young birbs from the nests! They are predators!
And when it gets to the Coyotes, they don't alert the coyotes it's the other way round: the dogs learned that wherever crows seem to be, there'll be something interesting for them to find and eat.

They made a huge comeback since the mid 20th since they were hunted as pests. They hung cans filled with scrap metal or lead shot, then a stick of explosive placed in the center of that can. Then they hung that can up in the trees the crows used to roost in. Pretty nasty and indiscriminate if you ask me.
In the years I grew up in Kansas, I never heard many crows calling. I also listened to the quail every evening making their own calls. I could make a ton of quail raise so much hell at night, I was so good at doing Bobwhite calling. It was hilarious.
I returned last year only to hear crow almost all the time, but no quail, since the die-off earlier before 2000.
You can make them regulars by training them to open puzzles for treats for rewards. Lots of videos of folks doing that. It takes skill and patience doing it. Just make sure it's legal in your state before starting off. And get it in writing.
