Dots, dots, DOTS! This was done during a "shadow monster" drawing spree, and out of the handful of drawings I did, this is the one that I really liked. A winged shadow wolf melting away into liquid darkness. I kinda "cheated" and did the lineart in unbroken lines, but almost everything else was done in hand-drawn dots (don't remember what you call the technique). I'm rather pleased with the outcome, although I was reluctant to post this here because of the obvious anatomy issues in it. Maybe the dots make up for them? XD
All in all, it took about six hours to complete this. That's a lot of dots!
Black Micron pens (005, 01, 03), and a random red gel pen.

Whoa... Pointillism! This is so cool... The texture makes the wolf and the gooey shadow thing look even more melded together and stuff. I think it turned out well; you portrayed shadows very nicely, and the wings especially look awesome. :D
Pffsh, who cares about anatomy? You don't have to draw genitals if you don't want to. >_> <_<
