i love how digital art allows you to play around with different versions of a piece, this piece origially was "dark fanart" aka sad and bloody.

the sad one was first (seen here with a short story http://lilleahwest.deviantart.com/a.....hurt-190724073 )

but then i was like
ya know if i get rid of the blood and give him a smile then this would be a pleasant piece of link enjoying a refressing rain shower.
so that is what i did along with making eponas eyes more bright and wide, moving her ears forward since angled back generally shows a negative emotion, adding some more blue to the sky and toning down the shadows a bit.

poor link, i imagine he does not get to bathe much so a little rain may actualy do him so good....now if only he could find the time to sleep!

PS i am highly amused by the fact the weather does vary in twilight princess, it does in fact rain periodically in what seems like most places, even lighting some times! i for one can really apprechiate small details like that <3
