I don't hate Meowscarada's design, but I don't love it either. I have a soft spot for this pokemon because she gives off NiGHTS vibes. Those that are long time watchers of my 16 bit anthros series may remember that I have nostalgic memories of that game. I named my sprigatito "Reala" as a homage to the villain of the game.
That being said, I do think Meowscara's design does need a bit of tweaking, which is what I've done here. I may end up doing the same to Skeledirge and Quaquaval since, despite liking the themes behind them, I actually do hate their designs.

I'm glad you didn't overhaul the design.
I can't stand when people complain about a starter being bipedal and "fix" it by making it four-legged.
My only real complaints were that its ears were... indeterminate, and that its weapon of choice feels like a downgrade from Floragato's yoyo.
