Apparently the humble pig can smell things buried up to 25 feet underground*. If I had such a powerful snoot I'd definitely try and use it as an ersatz metal detector, and see if I can find any long forgotten goodies. There's gotta be something good when my local area has been settled since Roman times, though in truth just finding some old pre-decimal currency would be pretty neat <3


*I suspect that "up to" is doing some heavy lifting here!
