do you think evolution ever comes with a mental shift?
playing PMD with my husband, we loved to think about how the shift from Vulpix to Ninetales could go, in his partner pokemon.
As Vulpix gradually leans moves like 'payback', 'imprison', 'hex', 'grudge', 'spite'.....
it's not a real in-game concept.
But it's fun to think about evolution coming at such a cost. Perhaps you can think to yourself, "I'll be different... I'll be a helpful, friendly Ninetales!"...... but the urge to isolate..... the building mistrust, paranoia, protectiveness....
