I've been using a variant of this as my pfp here for a while, but I've been endlessly fiddling with it. I am an artist sneaking into the gallery at night to keep painting new details because I'm never satisfied with my art lol.
What I've done since the last time I've uploaded my fursona on here is work a lot on the muzzle. I think I've decided in my art style that the muzzle is more subtle when viewed from the front, and more prominent when viewed from the side. I do plain on making a full fledged fursona reference sheet that I'll probably release soon.
I'm also very happy with the nice panting smile. Adding in a tongue can look weird sometimes, and I think I did a good job with this one. For the time being at least, I'm pretty happy calling this my definitive fursona, at least until I post a reference sheet showing a full body view.
I'll have to decide if I want to upload the winter/christmas version of this I'll make, but I'll see.
All in all, I finally feel like my fursona is more canine-like, rather than just a human face with some dog features slapped on. It feels more cohesive and complete.
