One of my characters I created for Griffon of Canterlot, this griffon is a finch griffon that bigger than the average pony size Finch Griffon.

As for Finch Griffon tradition, she is named after successful invention by her father and that would be a sunflower that never wilts and stay flowered in any kind of weather.
She stands on all fours at 9ft '3 tall when the average Finch Griffon stand around pony size which is around 3-4ft tall on all fours in MLP universe.
