This is an older design, but I recently updated it (added that rivet at the bridge of the nose) to improve the shape of the snout. After trying it on a couple designs, I think I’m gonna be going through and making that same tweak on a lot of my old mask designs.

They're very different! Neoprene is stiff for a fabric, but it still will try to relax to where it wants to, so any shaping has to be done with clever seam and pattern design. Leather uses its own whole set of tools and techniques, but it has the advantage of being moldable - once you soak it and sculpt it to a shape, it'll stay in that shape.
