There was just such a contrast tween the rapids, the dark forest and the harsh bright white overcast sky, it really burned the image. I was able to save /some/ of the work in LuminarNEO but there is only so much you can do.
This was taken on route to the Mt. Baker Hotsprings via a bike ride up there. My little car can't handle that road up into that remote place but my e-bike has no issues climbing up that route.

Ahh, I have a simple crap-tacular Walmart special sit-on-top kayak, I wouldn't dare put it into the rapids with this thing. I'd wind up dumped. Its nice and stable in the smooth and flats, but get into some rollers and its a big nope. I know its limitations, and mine, and when It comes to water safety I ensure my survival by not pushing its limitations.
It was cheap-ish, light-weight, and readily manageable. I can toss this on the top of my car, or in back of the van easily, and it gets me all sorts of neat places. Even though I keep it simple, I am still fully equipped with wetsuit, PFD, and safety equipment.
