so i saw  squeakie draw some art of a pudgy bellied Poleepkwa (or as their derogatorily called "Prawns"), which is the alien race from the movie District 9. reminded me of the movie which was great but sad.

But i like these poleepkwa creatures. accroding to my research they take their form from a type of cricket native to Africa. so drawing one was a stretch, but huzzah, i drew an invertabrate!

so anyways this is my Poleepkwa character I call Klar "Arthur" Weta. ("Klar" being the combiation of the first two letters from "klaw" and "arthropod" and Weta because the creature the race takes after is the African version of the New Zealand weta cricket).

Poleepkwa are still being horribly mistreated. It's horrible, and being from a Polish werewolf decent, i can relate. So whenever i can I visit him in the cutoff Poleepkwa neighborhood near me and tell him and the others about the world otuside. And sometimes I'm nice and bake his family a pie or a cake with some cat food in it.
Well i guess whe i went to deliver his fmaily some food, I accidentally left a special blueberry pie there that i took home from work and I guess Klar got ahold of it.....oops.

Well at least he likes it. Looks like Klar is the first ever blueberried Poleepkwa. Way to be a pioneer! :D
