Ari wasn't going to let them catch her. She needed to be judicious with the usage of her abilities, knowing full well there were way more of them than there were of her. She didn't have the stamina to destroy them all with molten pillars of rock and stone. Her role was that of distraction than help in the escape. She led these fools on a merry chase through the newly reconstructed city, using her powers in minute, but effective ways: creating a ramped curve to better ease a hard right turn down a tight alley, while quickly closing it off with a tall cobblestone barricade, freshly cooling in her wake. A few explosions later behind her and she continued on smiling. She was doing her job well.
