It has always been interesting to compare horses from the game Oblivion and Skyrim. I don't think anyone knows about the first toy, (and this is my favorite game, by the way), but still
Horses from Oblivion have always seemed to me to be somehow perfect, despite the fact that the 2006 game and the graphics, physics, gameplay are simply ridiculous by current standards. The horses from this game look alive and massive for me personally, and when riding in the first person, it's like I feel the movement of the horse's muscles myself. At one time, I installed a bunch of mods that modify some of the shortcomings of the game (increased the speed of horses, new suits, stables, etc.), making these horses even more perfect. To this day, I go through the game 2 times a year only purely because of my love for Oblivion horses.
But what about Skyrim ? They seem to me to be some kind of small, with jelly-like legs, the working out of the suits is dirty, and the fashions, as for me, do not make the weather better. The lack of a first-person view only made the situation worse, it was hard to look at the legs breaking in motion. On the one hand, I understand perfectly well that there is a reference to the northern horses, not fast, but hardy, small, with a large rump and thick fur, despite this, I still did not burn with the desire to ride Skyrim horses.
I found information on the Internet that the development of Oblivion horses was carried out by a woman who is directly related to these animals, a woman kept her ranch, a fan of horse riding and so on. While Skyrim in this regard was engaged in an ordinary ordinary developer.
It would be interesting to know the opinion of people who have passed both games.
