Indeed. I'm perfectly macaroni past e=mc^2 in the morning with a cat in the hat to the wild, wild Westminster abbey. To paraphrase Will Smith, getting jiggy and mayonnaise go very well together. However, I disagree with his method as the full monte can only be jacksawed with marmite paste eaten under the shadow of an inverted leopard print snuggie.
Bacon.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA! *runs off naked*

NO NO NO! That's all BACKWARDS! And you were so close too. *headshake* Listen, my little grasshopper, it is the MILKSHAKE that is at fault here! Can't you see!? Everyone says "innocent until proven guilty" but that wasn't really intended for milkshakes, only blond, rich, white humans and bacon. But that's beside the point which is exactly the point! Haven't you ever heard the song "My Milkshake Brings all the Boys to the Yard?" That's no coincidence! The truth is out there! Listen to the song! Listen to the song while submerged in a vat of lukewarm organic heavy cream and you'll see what I mean... bean.... glean... LEAN! OH GOD I'M INFECTED! GODDAMNED MILKSHAKES! FUCK YOU MILKSHAKES!
BBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!
AH HAH! So the milkshakes are living shenanigans that likewise manifest as prison jugs and prolapsed, fanged navels that engorge themselves with blood as a threat display, turning multiple shades of color thanks to genes they inherited from blueblooded bastard child of several backwater orphans that ate one too many colors of play dough.
And Bacon. IT'S BACON (strips)!

Absolutely gorgeous! Those eyes, the fur detail...the lovely border of leaves...he's gorgeous! I just love his face. I don't know what else to say but beautiful and gorgeous. <3
I dunno, the arms look good to me and I really love the position of his hands. But I definitely understand that feeling of just working on and staring at a piece for a long time and then just finding something you don't like. ^^;

after a lot of thought and a couple of speed anatomy sketches, I think the arm positioning is actually quite nice, and it's the 'crop' of the image that gives the illusion that it might be a bit off. Really not off at all, as far as I can tell, and you have to really look hard to get the idea that they might be a bit off in the first place.
just my two cents XD I think it's stunning.

Done or not, I still find it very enchanting.
How do you manage to work with such dark paintings? I mean, it could be my monitor, but to me the surrounding area is pretty much black. ^^' Even though I suspect it is...well more than black.
Hope you won't kill me but I lightened it up a bit in photoshop just to see how it actually looks. (Educational purpose?) ^^' Only now do I know he's wearing a green...err loinclothish thing, among other little details. Really fascinating!

"and you haven't tinkered much with it's settings, then the way it displays your images is how they should be viewed." I'm not so sure because I just looked at the image on my iPad and it looks super dark. A friend just said the same thing. :( RRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
You sure the brightness on the Ipad wasn't turned down? I think the Iphone has a similar screen and I have the brightness turned to just below 50%. I maxed it and wow, I can see! The image is still dark but background details and loincloth are visible at least.
I must admit that I've thought a lot about if this phenomenon is a serious one in the digital art world. Since everyone has different screens and settings, is anyone actually seeing what the artist is seeing? Even tiny differences are important, but it's more likely that people really don't care too much :/
Hope I didn't make the RRRAAAAAAGGGGEEEEE worse. 8I

:P You didn't.
"I must admit that I've thought a lot about if this phenomenon is a serious one in the digital art world." It is but there's only so much that can be done about it. :\ It's inevitable that people are going to see different things on their individual screens.

I swoon a little whenever someone draws something and I was properly able to identify the breed/species.
I thought "he looks like a basenji" and then lo and behold he IS a basenji, hats off to you :)
You can definitely see the massive amount of time that has gone into this piece. This looks amazing, even if you're south enamored with it after spending so much time staring at it.

No, that's not what I mean. I rather like your style in the hands, but with such detail in the fur, the hands just don't look real. They seem too smooth, too soft, just not a hand texture. I think if you work the texture on the hand some, this would be a perfect image.
But over all I really like this! His face is just absolutely stunning! I stared a good deal of time at his eye detail.

WOW the detail on this is stunning! It's like I can see every hair of fur! And those eyes... they look like my boyfriend's eyes, he has those very same colors. It's just so vibrant! I think my favorite part about this, though, would have to be the hands. Just amazing detail all around <3
oh my... my monitor broke down and now that I got this old box monitor thingy it does look all black now D: GAAH I cant watch the full prettyness of your art anymore *CRIES*
though, you should not worry about this, I'm sure nobody has these crappy box monitor thingies anymore anyway xD

XD Relax! My goodness! You act like I'm going to bite your head off. :p Here, have some Quaalude and calm down. Not mad, not even a little bit.
Yes, digital is a lot easier to deal with than traditional (I know this seeing as how I spent the majority of my life as a traditional artist) but it's not magic. XD Fixing those arms means probably having to rework all the anatomy in that entire area. :P

here, derpy.frog is not terribly difficult to find โ i managed to re-discover him again just now on my "normal" screen, at 125% zoom, within seconds
to reรฏterate: the primary focus of my current campaign is to catch the frog, and tell you when i have; though of course, when the mood strikes me (and time permits it), i may leave some additional commentary too
and i do have some, platinum_one; i do have some "additional," for ye
