Well, it's sort of a recipe.
Seriously, this tastes great, and everyone will think you're a master chef when you tell them you're bringing a trifle.
INGREDIENTS:
1 tub Cool Whip
1 large packet of instant chocolate pudding, prepared as directed
1 box brownies, prepared as directed and cooled
DIRECTIONS:
In a fancy or non-fancy dish, crumble the brownies into bite-sized pieces at the bottom. When all the brownie is crumbled at the bottom, spoon the pudding over them. Use a spoon to make the top of the pudding layer smooth. Then, spoon the Cool Whip over the pudding until all is used. Use a spoon to make the layer even and add designs in the top if you desire.
Serve, enjoy, get lauded as an amazing cook. ;D

I prefer Ready Whip (tastes better, but is more expensive), but Cool Whip works, too.
I recently made a very generous dessert like this in a 16 oz. glass that was a layer of coffee pudding (which is really more of a mocha flavor), brownie crumbs in the middle, then another layer of coffee pudding with whipped cream on the top. Obviously the more responsible thing is to do up a smaller glass of it, but... it's just so good. :<
