A poem I made based on something going on currently. I made it so that the meaning of the poem could stand for any number of things. Only I and who/what this is directed to will know its true meaning.

Sometimes, when we're waiting for a sign, we come to realize that when we thought we were "looking," we actually had our eyes closed--so we couldn't "see" what we were looking for, even when it was right in front of us...beckoning.
Other times, with our eyes wide open, we didn't "see" what had been there all along...or at least for a very long time, like our open eyes had become glaceed over with Arctic ice--or else, like we had stared so long into what we thought was "nothingness" that we couldn't see the three-dimensional reality in front of us.
It may not be that the sign isn't "there."
There may be many signs, many good signs, "there."
Blink. Shake your head. Wake up from whatever fog seems to surround you.
It could be that the sign you're looking for is right in front of you, right now.
But you not only need to "see" the sign, you also need to say "yes."
All the good in the world is no good at all to you unless you say "yes."
