The only experience I've had with MLP growing up was my sister being real into them at one point, and me finding them girly and kind of annoying at the same point. Now I really love these ponies' designs, but still haven't watched any of the modern show even though I heard it was mostly good. This sort of thing happens a lot where I adore fictional characters and their designs but watch little to none of the media they come from, and IDK how to feel about it TBH.
