Ok, so I was playing around with my new tablet and new copy of Painter, and was experimenting with the chalk brushes. Of couse, I started drawing a dragon. And I was like, "Oooh... it looks a little like cave painting..." So I re-drew it using more cave painting like colors and played around trying to make the background look like rock. Then I decided that the dragon looked lonely and gave him some other cave drawings for company, trying to keep in mind the style of cave figures and how they often overlapped each other. (I did use some references for that part, especially the hands, as it was darn hard to get those to look right. I think I spent more time on the hands than on the rest of the piece combined.)
