After pawing at my camera bag in an upside-down attack, a Siberian lynx cub (Lynx lynx) at Jungle Cat World decides to forego the excitement for a spontaneous afternoon nap. Whether it was the depletion of energy while playing with his brother or a food-coma brought on by a bowl full of formula, the little lynx Toskay was powerless to resist a little siesta.
Perhaps I’m seeing things, but I would like to think that this little guy resembles the Maneki Neko or lucky cat seen in so many Japanese restaurants. A lucky lynx for us perhaps and a lovely little nap for him.
