Hey, long time no post.
i've been working on myself and with a therapist to work on the parts of myself that i've been repressing for my adult life. since working with this new shrink, i've moved into my own apartment and met a group of friends in the area from the dating app Lex and from meetup.com who are really getting me excited about re-engaging with the furry community. They encouraged me to work on my sona and;.. well by heck i'm doing it.

this is Gearbox... they're enby (they/he) grolar bear (tho he looks more like a polar bear). they're big and gay and like working on cars and getting dirty. in this pic he's wearing mechanic's coveralls. the most utilitarian of clothes...

unsure what about them is straight-up me irl but a bear... but it's possible gear also likes the other stuff that I do like photography, music... maybe he's just like me fr fr

even though i've started introducing myself as gearbox at meets and stuff.. people have already begun nicknaming me "gear".... i guess it rolls off the tongue easier. idk how I feel about it, but it's still affirming, haha. i don't really like how either of them sound tbh... tho maybe they'll grow on me.
