Just playing around trying to figure out grayscale in Photoshop.
Incidentally, the "Toccata and Fugue in C Minor" is purely an instrumental piece. The lyrics are NOT "The little children of the night/what sweet music they make/of course, one who was not a hunter/would not understand/buahahahaha."

Of course not. Any Rollerball fan knows that the lyrics are "Jon-A-Than! Jon-A-Than! Jon-A-Than!"

Thanks! Le Pacte des Loups and Amadeus have been huge, huge influences on me - the early 1700s just seems like a natural sort of time period to have horror type stuff going on. Clothing is visually intense, huge chunks of the world are something nobody understands, and European types (I'm including Russia here, thanks to Peter I's reforms) are balanced in between this very medieval mindset (eg; "well of course he's the best king out there, and his rule cannot be challenged; God personally selected him through the agency of the Vatican") with everything we take for granted (democracy, widespread literacy, microscopes, taxonomy, firearms with a vaguely rapid reload speed...).
This is a great piece - both halves are dramatic! I can see it fitting in very well with Raveloft :)
Luckily I realised what you were doing in time and stopped reading before your words could be fixed in my memory, so the Toccata & Fugue in C minor has not been spoiled for me :P
