Always nice to read a good werewolf story, and you didn't disappoint. In fact, this is easily one of your most impressive pieces as of late, especially in terms of tone.

That mix of a darker, gothic setting and your personal brand of humour mesh nicely under your dexterous hand, and I was delighted to catch the Macbeth reference you slipped in as well. The vicar and his wife were consistently interesting. The build up to the reveal at the end hit with the intended effect it should, really feels like the narrator and his missus dodged a bullet.

Really, if feels like they stumbled into another story which was already going on before they arrived on the scene.
