Also, you are right, though i think graphite and turpentine are a close second >w<

never used turpentine before... except to clean up paint!

Make a small cone of paper and put a cloth around it. Dipp it in turpentine and then dipp it slightly in powdered graphite. Then apply it to a paper.

Faster to work and shade with than graphite, best sketching material ever!
