I can relate to this level of pain, from a tangible point of approach. Sometimes the worst scars burn the brightest - so bright, others can never hope to fathom or decipher just how vast the deepest cuts reach. This is a splendid illustration, I really appreciate it and appreciate you considerably as an artist. Thank you for this!!! <3 <3
Thank you so much darlin! I doodled this a bit ago for a Monster Hearts bean. Ophelia is a Reaper and is just having a heckin time of it. This is the moment of her Darkest Self where the Reaper powers she's been granted have been burned away from her, and man... Things have just gone down hill from here.
And these burning scars are so much fun to draw and are such a visceral feeling. They burn and they ache and they linger for so long, and when you think they've finally burned out they're just BACK. I can't wait to show you all more art of this girl, because she's become my current brain rot so so so bad. And things are only getting worse for her from here.
