Early post today. As I still feel bad about the blackout a couple of weeks ago.
Okay, to be fair, I do think this page is a fine strong start of what I was going for. However, either I went too far with the greys... or didn't go enough. What I wanted to happen was the two of them constantly going back and forth with their banter saying things that sound nice, but the visuals made it obvious that they're actually taking jabs at each other instead of the food that's on the table itself... but what I wound up with is... well, you'll see next week.
Also, fun fact: Yes, the "chick flick" in question is actually a small tribute to Don Bluthe's work. I know most people don't like his work, but I actually am a fan of it. Especially his early work. I loved it long before I knew it was all made by the same person. From Land Before Time, to Bartock the Magnificent, to even The Pebble and the Penguin. Don't like that I do, well then bite me!

Sort of a unique take on a love triangle? Don’t see many where the object of both characters’ affection is interested in neither of them.
Also. Got another Don Bluth fan here. I’m pretty sure Rock-a-Doodle is what started me on a furry path. Especially the TF part. Though, admittedly, his movies are weird.

Well, that would be an interesting take on the old troupe. Or the set up for a great comedy act.
However... Eh, give it about 4 more pages. Although I could still twist it around because... well, it's not exactly a triangle....More like a pyramid, but certainly not a harem.
Alex is very platonic when it comes to his relationships.
Not so much for me when it came to making me a furry, but it certainly didn't hurt either. Certainly helped to make me more interested in exactly HOW species swap transformations work though.

Not enough characters in the comic's story for one of those.... at least not yet. Not even in the hypothetical planning stages.... Hexagon perchance if I really stretch it.
One of two things, if I recall correctly. Power Rangers Turbo and the dog episode of PPG set me down the path. Although, didn't know there was a word for it until much later.

I think it was sort of middle school for me. My brother and I went to our first Anime convention and... Long story short, my brother made me babysit our mom so that the could have fun with his friend. I managed to get some time to myself for a while and this big green furry gave me my first glomp. Didn't talk that long at all, but they made me feel welcome. Could say, it was a very good first impression. Sad part is, I can't even remember what they looked like.
Not much happened for me. I started looking for drawings of foxes online. First mention of furries I saw, I think, was this guy who made a StarFox animation on Newgrounds complaining that most of his followers were furries.
I mostly just lurked on FA for a few years. You were actually one of the first furries I regularly interacted with.
