Heaven is supposed to be a bureaucratic hell after all, so no surprise they still use fax machines.

At least it's better than the biblical haven. Heaven, is supposed to be an unending singing of 'holy holy holy' to 'god', and you get to join them. Hell is only mentioned as a 'separation from god'

The popular image of hell comes from Dante's Inferno. He may also questionably be the source of purgatory, which was his second book. The popular image of heaven's author has been lost to time, but it's believed to be the invention of priests. Dating not long after the fall of Rome and the plunge of living conditions to the hell that was living as a peasant int he feudal system.

'you may be suffering now, cold, sick, your lord(or the church it's self, they held a LOT of the land) may be leaving your just enough food that you're always hungry and you have to work year round. But if you're loyal to the lord you will go to heaven where you'll want for not' *as the priest holds up the bible, which was written in Latin, and illegal for a low class person like a peasant to know how to read Latin.
