Scorch had signed up for testing at Hexco, and wandered into a drone test chamber. Before she knew it she was covered in black liquid, and staring at a visor. The screen efficiently drilled into her mind, and before long the drone was online. She will be studied as a drone for a while before being released to test more...unless she yields particularly interesting results. In that case she may stay a drone until the end of her contractually agreed testing period
