Somefur needs a brushing!

I think this is a wonderful picture hehe

I was curious about the abundance of blue in the background of these... In this one it is particularly noticeable, to the point of looking overdone. Was curious as to the how and the why?

Three strobes plus ambient.

Strobes 1 and 2 were both high and camera-left, just at different angles on the tree. One inside the house one outside, if I recall. Both gelled pretty intense shades of blue. I was going for a moonlight look, and in the shots where I dropped the ambient about two stops lower, it actually kind of worked pretty well. But I didn't like any of those, so it looks too intense in most of the shots I saved.
