The other day I got through a pretty old but great game called Cry Of Fear. I played it when I was 14, but never completed the puzzle with the animal statues. This time I reached the end and got strange but pleasant emotions. The story seems deeper than when I first went through it at that age.
I really like horror stories that are based on some sort of mental illness and trauma of the character we play as. How the story ends up letting us know that all the monsters and horrible events we see are just the inflamed mind of the main character. That none of this ever happened, that this is some kind of hallucination or a struggle in his mind. It's very cool, but it's a shame that games like this can be counted on the fingers of one hand.
I ended up drawing Alex in Simon's place. Didn't try too hard on the drawing (I'm rarely trying to draw something for myself), but now I have this fanart, phhh
I think there's gonna be a few more artworks in this universe, cause it really got to me. Even in spite of the stuffiness in the middle and at the end of the game, I'm very satisfied with the emotions I got
