Bit of a weird title, but honestly I'm not fully sure what to call this, because it's kinda complicated ? If you have a better idea for a name, lemme know <:
A slightly modified growth-stages YCH I snagged a while back, tweaked to better suit Phyress and some concepts I'd been wanting to explore more with her, focusing on her ability to rise from the ashes again, once she meets her untimely demise, when her "rage" goes too far. That's the TL:DR, will elaborate more, though it might get a little long winded, so I'll try to keep it short and concise! It is pretty hard to put into words though, as it's mostly in my head and I'm still working on it, but I'll try!
So first thing, the order of the stages is different from what you'd normally see, hence tweaked a bit. Instead of being egg -> smol -> lil' shit -> mature -> ancient old man, it's not so much about her aging or lifespan type growth, but instead just focused on this one aspect of her, so it makes sense that it starts in a different spot, namely the point where her "rage" has gone on for too long, and she's no longer in control but just a ticking clock, until she eventually fully combusts and burns up.
There's been a few doodles done of various stages of this as is <:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/49553615/ - This is before the first stage you see on this image, in the link she's still mostly in control, but it is starting to get awfully close to tipping over, more or less the point of no return
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/43926959/ - This is more or less part of what would/could happen during the first stage in this, she's no longer in control and everything spiraling even further, lashing out at everyone that gets close
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/45833924/ - And this is after the first image in this, but before the second, essentially seconds away from being entirely burned up
So with that out of the way, let's continue!
So the first stage has mostly been covered above, it's when she's been pushed too far for too long, most often as a defensive measure, where the inhibitors that normally cause her fire to be harmless, have been overwhelmed, and as such the magic causing the fire, is completely out of control for her, so it starts growing more and more violent in nature and appearance, eventually sprouting giant wings made of fire, setting anything nearby ablaze. It's an act of desperation from her, since once that threshold is crossed, she can't go back, it'll just keep spiraling more and more, the fires growing more and more intense and enveloping her, until it finally gets to be too much.
At which point we reach the second stage. Having gone completely up in flames, she's thankfully not dead, but from an outside perspective, it's easy to assume she is, as she'll turn into a pile of ashes, still burning gently for a while after. However, because of her partial inspiration lore-wise from phoenixes, in due time, she'll be able to reemerge from her ashes, albeit incredibly weakened and probably pretty small initially, growing up to her regular size relatively quickly afterwards, while a time duration hasn't been decided or set in stone, likely over a month or so I'm thinking ?
There's some artistic freedom here, in her silhouette being visible and part of the ashen pile, which is actually a neat concept, since it could imply the ashes are her and are kinda sentient in a way, slowly working on rebuilding/reforming her body. I definitely do like the idea of them still being fiery though, wouldn't want anyone to mess with them <:
The third stage is her in the process of her recovery back to normal, a decent bit into it, since she's fairly big at this point, though still heavily weakened from the entire experience, as she's not fully recovered yet.
She's still capable of going about her day to day life at this point, but with much less energy, and will likely spent the majority of the time resting, hence the blue flames. Of course, when she is awake, she's still capable of being a lil' shit if needed :3
Like this lil' shitpost Ender drew - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/48866091/
And the fourth and final stage, is her fully recovered and back to her normal regal self! Ready to begin the process all over, though she'd prefer not to, as it's not very pleasant.
While it hasn't fully been decided yet, I do like the idea of everytime she does go through this process, she does lose a little bit of her total lifespan, in a way essentially using it up in the process, though as I said, not fully decided, still a lot of work to be done on the concept, it's all still a WIP and bit rough around the edges, but I wanted to get the concept out there and in writing! <:
Anywho, sorry about the long ramble, as I said it's a bit of a complicated topic and hard to fully put into words, hope it made sense!

I tried okay! It made a lot more sense in my head, but I think it translated poorly to text :'D
Yeeee, it's an aspect of it I've been toying with, but nothing super concrete about it has really been settled on.
Well I mean, I figure literally burning up and then having to raise again isn't exactly a walk in the part fun time activity, so yea, she probably prefers to avoid it c':
