After their old treehouse got knocked out of the tree by a storm in the late summer, Sascha's and Kuraiko's step dad went pretty much all the way to build the boys a new one.
With the help of a good friend and his wife, he built the treehouse much sturdier than before. And bigger!
When he showed his kid the new tree house, they were ecstatic, bouncing up and down, laughing, squealing, hugging their parents and could no wait to play in the new place.
With their favorite plushies in hand, they stormed off, climbed up and gave the new tree house a full inspection. And it was wonderful!
"Boy!" they heard their mum call "Can you come here for a second?"
Peeking over the rail they looked down into the garden "What's up?"
Their mum was waving their cell phone around, pointing at the edge of the platform.
"Please sit down there for a minute, I want a picture for the family album."
"Oh okay. But Sammy and Minoru need to be on the picture as well."
With a smile, the snow leopard nodded "Of course. They are family, right?!"
Kurai and Sascha placed their favorite plushies on the platform so it looked like they were peeking down, before sitting down themselves, legs dangling over the edge and leaning on the rail.
"All right boy, smile for the foto. Say cheeese!"
"Cheeeese"

A perfect moment for the family album, a snapshot out of the life of two adorable little rascals.
Enjoying the new tree house that their parents have built them after the old one fell victim to the weather, the two brothers couldn't be happier.
