Whilst Lupus Kintsugi is a gentle macro who seeks to care for the lil ones, it was not as simple as that when he first became big. In fact, after Lupus was able to grow for the first time, it proved a challenge to adjust his footfalls to accommodate his weight. Luckily, all that fell victim to his pads was a set of trees.
After time he adapted to his new found size, and was able to use it to protect micros.
Whilst also finding clothes as well, but that's another story.

They do, Lupus has trained himself to handle his weight when stepping.
