How exactly did becoming a wolf make her “big”?

It has to do with how she became a Kitsune or in her case a fox of Inari. She changed bodytypes because inari is, among other things, the goddess of fertility. Gaining weight easily is kinda like punishment she got

She thinks it's weird at the beginning and is shy about it, but she is more focused on her unwanted weight gain ;3 but nothing she can do about it~
she still has much to learn, so transforming can happen without her wanting it. And she also has to learn how to deal with the instincts of the feral form cx

It's rare that you draw humans here and it's interesting that you got the idea from a dream.
Being a young student turned into a chubby kitsune by an event (which I'll be curious to know the cause), she could easily be the hero of a manga or a story that you can create. :3

Going back to the design of your character, Akari, she is charming and I like these different appearances. Especially her schoolgirl form and feral form. ^^
