dreamer69 . I'm trying hard to make a full transition to digital inks and I won't make much progress unless I'm practicing on more styles of pencil dissimilar to my own. I asked and he acceded to my digital inks. I've never done inks on manga styled stuff before, let alone digitally. I see some problems, but I'm rather happy with the outcome.

It takes a big adjustment for someone who's used to traditional media.

It's never inked in the first place. You start with pencils, which usually are pretty loose on light and shadow as well as on line weights and implied depth. Inking is not tracing as much as it is refining a drawing done in pencil, so the contours, light and shadow pop and are easily discernible by a viewer.
