When my parents were dating, they played DnD and they were in a tiny little tunnel...
One of my mother's friends decided to cast a high level fireball in a ten foot wide tunnel
fireball has I think a 50 foot blast range or something
what she was firing at was 3 feet away in the dark
the DM stopped anyone from trying to make her retract it because and I quote
"shut up this is funny"
the fireball hit the unknown monster in the dark
killed all six players
The enemy was a dragon, immune to fire.....
Then theres the time my dad was just bored and decided when the party went to sleep to skip time, his rogue just slit all their throats and walked off with their shit. Ended a whole campaign like that. Should've taken four months, instead it took 3 hours.
