It was already afternoon and after spending a nice day with Kissyfur and Gus, Miss Emmy Lou decided to go home...but Gus was eager to ask her something extremely important that would change their lives forever!

Gus couldn't find the words to tell her, and suddenly,he slowly took her paws in his paws and without hesitation asked:
"I want to ask something,Miss Emmy Lou...You want to marry me?You wanted to be my wife and be a mother to my son Kissyfur?"

At that precise moment, Kissyfur saw and heard everything... and tears rolled down his cheeks... not from sadness... but from happiness!
Quickly, Kissyfur picked up an old record with a song that Emmy Lou liked a lot because she always said that if someone proposed to her, that song should it play!

Part of the lyrics said:

"Always mine,
I see it in your eyes

We knew it from the first day
love satisfies

You're always mine,
and my heart says that's fine

Now how can I be lonely
knowing you're always mine...!"


As the turntable played the song titled "Always Mine"...there was a silence between Gus and Emmy Lou...both looking into each other's eyes...until Emmy Lou was heard saying..."Yes Gus... I will marry you!"
