A quite interesting piece. I like the last half in particular; some nice imagery. ^.^
With regard to the filetype issue, FA can only read and display files that are in the .txt format. It will accept others, but people then have to download them to read.
Two main workarounds for this:
First and simplest, just post in txt.
Alternately, you can add the text of the poem to the description when you upload the file, so people can read it without downloading.
If you want to delete a submission, you need to go to the 'control panel' link in the upper right, and then 'manage submissions'. From there you can remove submissions from your account. ^.-
