Another part of that Fire Emblem binge I had hit me. I decided to make this one an absolute mudlark as well.
And let me be clear: I wish the Nomad class made a comeback.

⦁ Biography: Natsumi is one of the many 1/2 mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena. Being born a day before Aceline, she is a part of the 3rd line of 1/2 mermaids. Like many of her siblings, she hung around whenever her father had stories to tell of his adventures, and he had no shortage of them either. One story really captured Natsumi's attention as she was told of Juni's time visiting the fertile planes of Sacae. As a result, she decided to study up on horseback archery and the ways of the Sacean people. Once Natsumi got the ropes of horseback archery & fighting on horseback in general down, Natsumi was allowed to adopt a horse of her own. Right away she chose a Marwari horse as her mount, naming it Tinkerbell right off the bat given how she had the spirit of a playful, but fearless fairy. At some point, Natsumi traveled with her other Fire Emblem themed sisters (Except for Eurydice who stayed behind initially) & became a captain in the Gaia Army that was coheaded by her father. She commanded a number of other horseback soldiers with a gentle hand & was loved by her peers. However, when the Supreme Forces attacked, her unit was among the countless many that was wiped out while Natsumi herself survived the attack alongside the rest of her family & friends who managed to get away from the carnage that unfolded. Even so, she pledged her support to the newly formed Gaia Alliance to avenge her fallen friends, and to take back Gaia. Even outside of that, she has pledged her bow to any cause asked of her. Although Natsumi is a soft spoken girl, she is still a motherly figure to her younger siblings, even letting them ride her horse at times. Though she hardly has any flaws, she's been known to be absent minded on occasion. Especially if she's out in nature. As a result, she loves nature, but prefers to see greenery like that in forests, swamps, and grassy planes for example. As a result, she is not keen on being in deserts as they do not have much plant life. She considers those who defile nature her sworn enemy. Also, like a handful of her siblings, Natsumi is an absolute mudlark. As soon as she hears quicksand, she will throw herself into it to sink in it. Makes the best tribal music.
⦁ Abilities: As a 1/2 mermaid, Natsumi is capable of taking on her mermaid form at any point she enters the water. However, she prefers the water to be either fresh, or seawater. Plus, like the rest of her siblings, and her mother, she prefers the water to be clean before she transforms. In the water, she enjoys an increase in her dodge/avoid, making her harder to hit. Natsumi makes for an amazing fit for the Nomad class as she has well rounded stats in all areas, but oddly enough, this applies to her magic as well. Her growth rates in that, resistance, strength, defense, and luck are praise worthy enough, but she really shines in speed & skill. Natsumi is also less hindered by weather & rough terrain unlike other cavalier based units. Her only weapon in this class is a bow however, meaning she can only attack from a distance. But upon promoting into a Nomadic Trooper, she gains access to swords to help her defend herself up close. Uniquely to her however, she has the option to instead become a Nomadic Shaman which gives her not only swords, but also anima magic to use. She also benefits from an increased growth rate in her magic & resistance to boot & can swap into the mage, or regular shaman classes to make better use of these if she so chooses to. Her starting weapons & skills are as follows.
⦁ Iris Bow: A very pretty bow that acts as Natsumi's personal weapon. When equipped, it increases Natsumi's hit & critical rate by +15 whenever she is on a forest tile. Its quiver holds 50 arrows.
⦁ Iron Bow: A standard bow made of iron—simple but effective. Quiver holds 40 arrows.
⦁ Longbow: A yew-hewn bow of above-average size. It can hit enemies at great distances. Quiver holds 25 arrows.
⦁ Drill Arrows: Specially made arrows that enable bows to deal effective damage to armored foes. Natsumi holds 20 of these arrows. They do not stack with the Cleave Bow, which is also an Armor Killer.
⦁ Nature's Blessing: Natsumi's personal skill. When ending her turn on a forest tile, Natsumi will receive a buff of +5 to her strength, defense, magic, and resistance. There's also a 30% chance she'll receive a random provision in the form of a fruit or vegetable, such as an orange, or a carrot.
⦁ Canto: Natusmi can move again if she has any movement left to use. Does not activate after using an attack.
