The warmth on her fur from the light of a new day causes her to awaken from her peaceful dreams. A gentle breeze blows through her coat and makes her feathers dance slowly to and from. As daylight breaks through the canopy above and spills down to the forest floor below, the wood comes alive. The first phrases of bird song break the silence of night before more join and harmonize with the growing chorus. Leaves and bushes rustle as the creatures of the forest leave their dens and burrows to herald in the new day.
Sunlight bathes over her before she stirs and opens her eyes. Morning dew clings to the pedals of the freshly bloomed spring flowers. A few birds are perched nearby, tilting their heads as the chirp, trill and sing to their friends. Fiadh slowly gets to her feet, stretching and shaking off the last remnants of sleep. The morning fog begins to lift from her mind, her dreams fading away from her as it does. She remembers dreaming of some great stone pyramid, but the more she tries to grasp at it, the more it slips through her digits. A few moments later, the thoughts are gone. She wracks her mind for a second, desperately trying to recall what she had just known a moment ago…
The shrill cry of a hawk overhead pulls her back to the present. She tilts her head to the sky, catching a brief glimpse of the raptor through the tree tops before it is gone. She smiles contentedly. The dream doesn’t matter. That was the past, and nothing can be done to bring it back. All she can do now is look forward.
One day I do really want to commit to writing down the lore I have in my head for Fiadh and the world she inhabits. I’ve been thinking a lot about it, and I am pretty happy with what I have in my head for it. In some ways, Fiadh’s journey mirrors my own, in a much more fantastical and interesting way of course haha. But it has been fun to flesh out her species, her role in the world, and how she ended up where she is.

Yes! I was just so blown away by how this and the other pic I got from foxapm turned out! I really love how they texture fur, it always looks amazing and so touchable. And ahhh, thank you so much <3 
The fluffy little bean! What dog doesn't enjoy a gentle pat? :3Indeed! I'm not sure exactly how much time, but it has indeed been a long time. I honestly felt like trying to write down all the world lore I have so far in my posts would just be too much, but I've been plotting and thinking about it quite a bit lately.
