This image was done as a gift for my mother-in-law and my niece. My pets, Tamashii the dog and Diva the cat, are quite popular with my extended family. Last year I did a cute little Christmas Card which featured them, and the family wanted to see them again, so here they are. No, I don't know what Pirates have to do with Christmas.

The request was to put them in a pirate outfit. I guess those are the in thing. Well, Diva and Tamashii don't mind. This pays homage to my more cartoony style, but this is actually the best cat I have ever drawn. These are also some of the most complex outfits I have ever just.. randomly put on my characters.

I need to look up tips on drawing water. I love water, I should be able to draw it so much better!
