N class 1874 on display in Ropley yard, Sept 2012.
Originally the Autumn 2012 gala had been intended to be a maunsell gala with N15 30777 'Sir Lamiel' and S15 847 to celebrate Cheltenham's return, unfortunately both locos were unavailable. As part of it the N class was to be painted in wartime southern black after spending years as James the Red Engine.
