I haven't done nearly as many of these this year as I did last year, and I figured I was overdue for another one since the last one I did was way back during Pokemon Month, so I did another single Pokemon playthrough! This time, I beat Pokemon Firered with just an Arbok who I of course named Mr.Snake (and to go along with it, I also named myself Mr.Wolf and my rival Diane :3)

As for how the playthrough itself went, the only part of the game that really gave me any trouble was the setup, because I had to go all the way past Mt.Moon to catch an Ekans, and once you get to that point in the game you can no longer go back to the first couple towns and routes until you get Cut, so I was locked into that area for a while until I grinded enough on wild Pokemon to beat the rival and go to the route above Cerulean to continue. Everything after that point was really easy though, so for the most part the playthrough went really well and wasn't too much of a challenge.
