I actually built my mansion with a basement... it's about 32x64 blocks, with 5 blocks deep...

completely closed off so monsters spawn down there.

It's all open space so you can keep things at bay, and you can actually get skellies to fight other monsters down there.

I had been n the mines for hours on ends, looking for the way out, as I found the way out, my favorite song came on, I was near.. tears, because every time that music comes on, something extremely good happens, I turn up the volume and soon see daylight. 10 blocks to go. I'm outside, a smile is on my face, and turn the corner "KA SHUNK!". Freaking out, my mouse goes off the desk...
