Another image from the upcoming Kirara portfolio that  caliosidhe (Michelle Latta) and I are doing. This will be my other General Audience image contribution.

The story in this one may be to be stated. Fans of the original show will understand the idea behind this image, but in case you don't, it goes something like this. Kirara in the series, and Shippo (the little kitsune boy there) have developed a very close friendship and are often found together. Another theme sometimes explored in the series is Shippo's often failed attempt at romancing various girls he falls for, all part of growing up I suppose. Anyway, the idea her is that if Kirara was a anthro, Shippo being the romantic he is and the innocent crushes all us guys developed at one time or another when growing up, shyly offers her some flowers he picked. She seems surprised, only because she wasn't expecting it; she probably really appreciates it though because she is just that nice and really doesn't get much kind affection except from Sango. The place they are at is the 'bone eaters' well, the portal that Kagome uses to travel between feudal and modern Japan.
