Forward: If you see a "submission deleted by the poster", that was likely me. FA was doing wonky things while I was trying to change the original submission file, and then FA died for a few minutes for me. So, here's the orifinal submission material, with better picture.
I'm surprised I forgot about this piece, as it's one of the few works of traditional art I've created that I'm actually proud of. This is a sculpture of a wolf I made back in high school in a sculpting class. It's made from some sort of modeling claw, had a glaze added to it (which went on rather well) and hardened in a kiln. It was a fun class, and this piece was once promonently displayed in the living room. It now stands proud upon a shelf in my bedroom, and will quite likely always be displayed somewhere.
The main thing I know I could have done better is the muzzle. I used no reference and was going more on feel, and perhaps rushed it just a little bit. As such it's rather thin, and I've been told that if it weren't for the coloratoin, it may have been mistaken for a fox. Oh, that, and the eyes look kinda like snake eyes. Overall though, like I said, I'm rather proud of this piece, and I'm surprised I hadn't thought to upload this here before.
Hmm...maybe I should scour my files and home for any other pieces like this. There actually may be a few lying around that I have since forgotten...
Also, I'll see if I can get a better picture up in the near future, as this was the only one I had and I wanted to get it up before I forgot.
