You know. I've looked. I'm actually surprised they don't have any over under double barreled revolvers. Sure it means you basically get three shots........... but those three shots gonna hurt.
I assume there is a reason. I know that bottom cylinder firing revolvers are better for recoil control but I imagine the hammer mechanism would be a nightmare... Suppose you could have a double hammer system with dual triggers, or pulling the trigger partially triggers one hammer and then the cylinder turns on release, or pulling the trigger down all the way triggers both hammers... A certain level of sense to that since if you have the trigger control to be that careful you're probably firing at range, where as if something's right in your face you're going to pull the trigger all the way down rather you mean to or not, and that makes more sense if you're at point blank.....
The gear work would be like a swiss watch in there though, there's a reason that Rhinos are more a collectors gun than a carry gun.. Of course there's other means of trigger system that people just don't use... an pin on an electromagnetic magnetic rail or coil that makes it snap forward as a striker for instance or a pneumatic system maybe, pulling the trigger compresses air until it releases a specific pressure and then is released, pushing a striker forward... I mean there are reasons those aren't used.........
I'm putting too much thought into this... shutting up now.
