Odd Tracks in the deepmud
These are the tracks of me slogging deeply to the shore while draggging my kayak behind me. Patches of this mud are up to almost my upper thighs, while other places only shin deep in order to drag the kayak to shore. As one can see, this island isn't far from the actual shoreline and the popular Padila Bay Shore Trail. Homes also can be seen off to the left in the distance.
Soooo, while I'd not initially be noticed by the homes, I would most certainly be seen by the trail walkers. If I were to take the chance and try wallowing in the mud I would be instantly seen.
I'm not much of a 'playing in the mud' in public sort of person so, all my muddy adventures are very private. I'm not about to tempt someone to go about rescuing some damsel in distress, when I'm just out having a good time playing in the mud.

So, there's many factors in the chance of getting a good mud session in this spot. Time of day, tide conditions, and weather. I'm pretty sure people camp on this island, but it would take me, my kayak, and camping out at the perfect time and weather and tide. Then there is clean up, as the only source of water is the seawater of when high tide returns.
There are just too many factors to make this particularly hole viable for a good mud session
This mud is goopy thick smooth ooze that stinks of tidal mud and is very staining of clothing. Even in the wetsuit I got pretty dirty in the aftermath of mucking about the shoreline.
