Halloween is some folks' favorite time of the year, It's a chance to dress up and pretend to be whatever or whoever you want to be. Many people who enjoyed it as children never outgrew that fun of playing pretend. Sabrina is one who loves to come up with new and unique costumes and was really proud of this one.

When they showed up to the party, friends tried to guess who and what they were dressed up as. Shiny buizel and his trainer? Old lady giving out spoiled candy corn? Traffic cone and elizebethan maid? They had no idea and were surprised when it was revealed they were dressed as Madame Marie Curie and a beaker of "radium". Duncan was fast to say this was entirely her idea.

Even after they were told who they were, Sabrina was asked why she was not acting like she could not see or hear. She corrected them, she was not portraying Helen Keller like last year. No. "Marie Curie", she explained, "was a Polish and naturalized-French physicist and chemist who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity. She discovered and named the element radium for which she won the 1911 nobel prize."
